Meet our pros and learn how they can help your golf game and make golfing more fun for you and your family. Ace Golf Ranges have only PGA certified teaching instructors. Many have been teaching for years. Here’s a little background on our PGA certified instructors.

Matt Primrose

Matt is a Class A PGA Professional who has been teaching golf since 1999. He holds all four certifications that the PGA offers to their membership. He is certified in General Management, Golf Operations, Player Development, and Instruction. He was the third in all of the PGA to earn all four certifications.

In 2012, he became a US Kids Golf Certified Instructor. He was the first to receive this distinction in the state of Florida. Matt was selected by US Kids Golf as a Top 50 Kids Teacher in 2013 and 2014. He was named a US Kids Golf Master Teacher in 2015. Matt has coached the boys varsity golf team at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School in Bradenton, Florida since 2008. He has led his team to the state tournament 4 times, finishing 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. Matt was selected as the Sarasota Herald Tribune High School Golf Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2014. He has many students that have gone on to play Division I Golf on scholarships. He has students that have participated in The US Junior Amateur and US Amateur Tournaments. He has also been recognized as the West Central Chapter of the NFPGA Junior Golf Leader in 2014.

Craig Skiles

Craig Skiles

Craig took up golf late in life at the age of 24. He graduated with Honors from the Golf Academy in 2011 and has been teaching full time ever since. While attending school, Craig worked with 6 PGA Master professionals. They gave Craig the knowledge and skill set to teach golfers of any skill level. Craig has a wide variety of sports in his background and knows what it’s like to be an athlete in golf. He has provided golf instruction for the Wounded Warriors Project, donated time to the First Tee Program and the USGA World Amateur. Craig has given over 4,000 lessons in the past 3 years.

Craig’s philosophy is based on the single plane swing but he also understands that each golfer is unique and he adapts his teaching to a golfer’s style and natural swing.

Doug Brehme

Doug Brehme Ace Instructor

Doug is a “Class A” PGA Professional and has been Director of Instruction for several national golf Schools. His Playing Accomplishments include:

  • Set Course Record at Mangrove Bay G.C. St.Pete, FL. (65).
  • Tied Course Record a Arlington C.C. Richmond, KY. (64)
  • Lowest Round (63). Holes in One (4).
  • Tournament Win’s at every level– Junior, Collegiate, Pro

Doug’s method of teaching centers around working with the individual and their own unique abilities. He determines their goals, develops sound fundamentals and establishes a plan for improvement.

Brian Bolcar

Brian Bolcar Ace Golf Instructor

Brian has over 12 years golf teaching experience. He started teaching full time in 2009 and in just 5 years has already given over 10,000 lessons. Brian has studied thousands of golf swings with video analysis and uses all the latest technologies including trackman, flightscope, and kvest. Brian spent time with and trained under several top instructors on golf digests best list, multiple PGA tour winners, and top training facilities throughout the country. He has coached players of all abilities from tour players, world amateur qualifiers, high school champions, club champions, wounded warriors, juniors and beginners.

Bill Parker

Bill Parker Ace Golf Instructor

Bill is a Mid-West Section PGA member with 30 Years of Teaching Experience. He’s been Head Golf Professional at Timbre Ridge Country Club, MO. Founder of the “Laws of Physics” Teaching Method.

Alice Brown

Alice Brown Ace Golf Instructor

Alice has 12 Years of golf experience and is an LPGA Member and current tour player.
Alice enjoys teaching basic fundamentals of golf while transforming the golfer into a more skillful and competitive player with more consistency and accuracy through the swing method. Here specialties include, Long Game, Short Game, Putting Stroke, the Shot making process and Course management.
